Adding Connectivity and Control to an Espresso Machine using a Particle Photon LIMITED SEATING

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

For our IOT Hackday MN project we added connectivity, control and automation to a standard single boiler espresso machine. In this presentation we will talk about pre-heating the boiler, monitoring and adjusting the boiler temperature, and controlling the pump all from a web application.  We will cover the design process we followed, the hardware selected and the firmware we wrote for the Particle Photon ending with a live demo of the machine.  We hope you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to add connectivity and control to your espresso machine or other devices in your home.
